Kumar Chalise is an award-winning Nepali chef with nearly three decades of culinary experience. He began his career in 1996 in Kathmandu and went on to build an international career as a Head, Corporate, and Consulting Chef, specializing in Nepali and global cuisines.
He has represented Nepali cuisine at international food festivals and culinary platforms across Australia, Europe, and Asia, earning multiple recognitions including Cosmopolitan & Corporate Chef of the Year. Alongside his professional practice, he has over a decade of experience in culinary education, training, and consultancy. Currently based in Australia, Kumar continues to promote Nepali cuisine on a global stage.
